Updating our projects

After experimenting for a few weeks, at last, we got the hang of doing the blog. Wow! It is not an easy job. We have to surf the net, try times after times and so much editing and deleting to be done. Not forgetting too, we have problems with the internet connections at home. To add salt to the wound, GITN blocked us from editing the blog in school. Therefore, we have to rely so much of setting up the blog at home and calling each other. Our parents are wonderful too. They give us the full support as long as we manage our time well. A very big thank you to everyone who supported us so far.

There is some changes in our projects as we embark on our mission. Here are the new activities planned and carried out successfully :

1. Create and manage a blog.
2. A talk about the effect of pollution on our mother earth and ways of preventing diseases caused by it.
3. A recycling campaign.
4. Donations to needy students in school.
5. An invention competition whereby students have to use recyclable items to create useful things.

Check out our Recycling Slide Show!

Steps taken to carry out this project :
  1. Form a committee and list out the duty of each member.
  2. To set the guidelines.

  6. To campaign to our friends in school.
  7. To clear up the items daily by packing them into different categories
  8. To contact and make appointment with the recycling centre.
